With the full implementation and in-depth development of quality education, cultivating students’ scientific literacy has become the ultimate value pursuit of science education, and the implementation of the three-level curriculum management pattern in the new curriculum reform also makes the development of curriculum resources in science education obtain unprecedented attention. Science theatre is a kind of popular science form which is both educational and artistic. It is popular in the science and technology venues with the popularizers of science and the audiences, especially the majority of youngsters. Many schools also gradually explore the value of science theatre, which is a new educational activities form to cultivating students’ scientific literacy. It is a new kind of educational resources combining scientific knowledge and art factors with theatrics. And it is a kind of curriculum resources for science education in school with educational and artistic value by making situation, experience and process in education synchronously.This research will include two cases, comprehensively using interview and observation method and so on, with participatory approaches to study the science theatre activities of the "science and technology" group in W middle school for more than one month. During this period,6times collective interview and10times personal interview have been carried out.5observation records and5documents with scripts have been acquired. The respondents and interviewees are15students from grade7and grade8of W school. Otherwise, two interviews of experts collect a copy video of "excellent curriculum", whose main form is science theatre and which takes "environmental protection" as its theme. And this theatre is cooperated by the museum experts in collaboration and M middle school. The video includes9class meetings which take "environmental protection" as theme. The meeting is from different grades and classes of M school. By further observing the science theatre of "science and technology" group" made by15persons in W middle school and studying the video of science theatre, the development process of science theatre and its recourses are presented gradually. The basic strategies of developing science theatre in science education have been summarized, which is the academic and practical achievement of the development of science theatre, hoping to provide the reference for developing the recourses of the science theatre in the school science education.The activities of "science and technology" group in W middle school present a popular science theatre playing process:determining the theme-choosing the script-adapting script-determining roles-beginning playing-making props-performing formally. The L supervisor of the "science and technology " group in W middle school insist the principle that teacher is the leader and students are the subjects to explore the process of science theatre. During the process, the students gradually achieve the progress. And through the video of excellent curriculum set" shows of M middle school, we can get that support conditions of the development of science theatre resources in school science education are the principal support, cooperation between museum and school, the guidance of teachers, and playing science theatre activities. The principle plays an important role in the whole process. and the cooperation between the museums and schools makes the development of science theatre resources integrate into characteristic curriculum of science and technology and promotes the exertion of the value of science theatre.The activities of science theatre taken by "science and technology" group in W school and the video of the science theatre about "environmental protection" provide the basic strategies for developing the recourses of science theatre in science education. In the first place, exert the function of the principle as a curriculum leader. The principle is not only the bellwether and leader for recourses development of curriculum, but also the supporter for the development. In the second place, bring the effect of students as subjects and teachers as directors into play to develop the recourses of science theatre. The direction of teachers is of importance in the development. Teachers must know the students’subject position, make them happy during the activities process of science theatre, and take the objective that achieving and promoting the formation of students’ scientific literacy as the aim. In the third place, base upon curriculum development of science education, it makes the contents of science education contextualize ceaselessly, decreases the obstructions in recourses development, promotes the integration between science education and science theatre, and that the recourses development of science theatre goes on smoothly. In the forth place, have the aid of the cooperation between museums and schools and the effect of expert’s direction. It can fully take the advantages of science theatre in science and technology museums to achieve the high performance of recourses development. The last but not the least, make science theatre become curriculum gradually. It will let science theatre promote the development of the curriculum of science education, school-based curriculum and integrated curriculum in science and technology. It will also further empolder the recourses of science theatre, maximize the value and the effect of science theatre in science education, and promote the development of science education and the formation of students’scientific literacy to achieve the recourse development of science theatre.
