As the common teaching means and carrier, question got more attention since ancient times. With thedevelopment of modern education and education technology, the research of question in Chinese andwestern educational world is becoming more and more deeply. Classroom questioning is a way ofcommunication between the teachers and students in the elementary school language teaching. Dependingon the people who proposed question, we can put divided questions into two kinds: the mode of teacherasking student and the mode of student asking teacher.The general understanding and study of classroomquestioning pay more attention on the first pattern, namely the mode of teacher asking students,underestimate even ignore the the mode of student asking teacher. Nowadays,with more attention tostudents’ subject status, the mode of student asking teacher should be researched in effective way.“Frequency, rate and efficiency of classroom questioning" relates to the success or failure of classroomquestioning, and even affect the success of teaching. Although the study of classroom questioning isgenerally increased, but the elementary school language classroom questioning of "frequency,rate andefficiency" is less, no clear work instruction of primary school Chinese teachers to grasp the classroomquestioning "frequency, the rate and efficiency".To this, the author investigated in the elementary school language classroom, understanding of theprimary school Chinese teachers’ classroom questioning "frequency, rate and efficiency",At present, theChinese classroom questioning in primary school exists some problems such as much "frequency", little"rate",and low "efficiency".The reason of these problems, on the one hand, is the primary school Chineseteachers lacking theory instruction on question ‘s "frequency, rate and efficiency",blinding pursuit of thenumber of questions, and neglecting the quality of questions; On the other hand also because teachersneglect the cultivation of student’s problem consciousness, and even killed the enthusiasm of students toask questions, so student has no question. The auther based on the relevant reality,combined with relevanttheory of classroom questioning,sums up some suggestions about primary school Chinese classroomquestioning on "frequency, rate and efficiency “of countermeasures, including cultivating students’ problemconsciousness, establishing equal and lively classroom atmosphere, to provide open teaching material, etc.
