Information technology has expanded quickly due to the increasing numbers of users fuelled by its low prices. It is undeniably fact that, information technology has a direct and indirect effect on human’s life especially youth or teenagers. The innovation and development of technology has supported news information around the world to offer readers a chance to access news electronically. In Thailand, the use of internet has affected Thai youth’s lives in many ways.Since the aim of this study focuses on the attitude of Thai students towards media, Most teenagers will leave the style of modelling people from media and they will have confidence to their own style of living. Mostly, the government of Thailand will have brave or confident community which will not imitate foreigner’s life style but stick to their own culture.The study will be conducted or limited to Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. Data collected and analysis about online media will evolve only on this area population. This is because all of them have access to internet technology hence they can provide a clear picture of what a researcher is looking/studying about. Moreover, they are most influential population on expansion of internet and other media communication in Thailand.The researcher decided that a qualitative and quantitative approach would be suitable for the study "How Thai University students get news and information." exploratory studies are most typically done to satisfy the researcher’s curiosity and desire for better understanding. All the information collected and arguments are to be gathered from the general public and text available in the libraries.Gay holds that, a sampling is a method of selecting a number of individuals from a study population in such a way that those selected are representative of the lager group from which they are selected from Gay. The research sample in this paper work will consist of200people chosen randomly in Thailand at Chulalongkorn University. This place is filled with students from different places both from Thailand and other countries of the world. It can be seen clearly from the statistics to that online media has a huge impact on students today. They take more time online than they should take on school work. So the parents will have to take it more serious to protect their children in order to have better Thailand people in near future.
