The world is stepping into an era of brand. Brand is the image of business, the symbol of moving into the market, and the core of business competitive advantage. In recent years, research as well as the use of brand strategy is becoming increasingly common in certain fields of education (such as basic education and advanced education) in China, and its great importance has been attached to the administrators of schools. However, few would pay attention to the brand strategy for secondary vocational school. With the reform of education system and the opening of secondary vocational education, secondary vocational education will be meeting challenges. How to face reality is what the administrators should concern. Moreover, it is also an important issue in developing strategy for secondary vocational school that setting up brand awareness, establishing and developing famous brand, improving influences, and increasing the competitive edge of "product" in the future competition to keep lasting and healthy development.This article evaluates the meaning of management concept, brand strategy and the brand of secondary vocational school. At the same time, it provided environment analysis of practicing brand strategy in schools according to the characteristics of secondary vocational education. It illustrated the necessity and feasibility of practicing brand strategy in schools. This article attempts an innovation by applying management concepts to management practice, with discussing the brand strategy for secondary vocational school. The author believes, with the analysis of this article, it can raise the interest and the attention of the administrators in secondary vocational school on the theoretical study and the management practices of brand strategy.The main part of the article is the methods to practice brand strategy in secondary vocational schools. It analyses the ways to turn out famous specialties and well-known teachers, meanwhile, to educate excellent students, to establish campus culture with own characteristics. It also discusses the public relations management of the brand, and the methods to operate and sell "product". It also offers some valuable suggestions for practicing brand strategy in secondary vocational schools.
