| Bundy Tubes are also called Double-wall Curly Brazed Tubes, which are mainly usedin the automotive industry, refrigeration industry and heaters’oil pressure gauge lines, fuellines, brake pipes and similar devices, but also can be widely used alternative to brass, andreduce the cost. The Bundy tube production line make the cold-rolled steel strip to uncoil,mill, weld, wind, and then ultimately produce the finished tubes. Under the controllingfunctrional requirements, and taking the factors of market acceptance,product stability,and system maintenance into account, the subject finally decide to use a central controlsytem based on PROFIBUS-DP with motion controller of SIEMENS SIMOTION as thecontrol core, servo drive system (SINAMICS S120) and touch screen as the controlinterface. The Bundy tubes’winding process can be compeleted through the SIMOTION’spowerful motion control functions.The dissertation includes the following aspects:First of all, by studying the wending machine control system according to therequirements of the tube wending processing, proposing the overall design scheme of thecontrol system with “touch screen+SIMOTION+S120â€as the main electrical controlsystem and “touch screen+S7-300PLC+BAUMUELLER†as the auxiliary electricalsystem, and then making the wending axis as the main control object,establishing theoverall design goals: configuring a advanced, powerfull, good reliablility and easyhandling controlling system.Secondly, the constant tension control principles and control scheme have beenanalysed.Thirdly, through the research of the control strategy of the wending axis, a controlmethod of speed control and force feedback closed loop PID control has been put forward,also the model of the control system has been established, then making the comparativeanalysis between the traditional PID tension control system and fuzzy self-tuning PIDtension control system with Matlab/simulink.Finally, the procedures of the Bundy tubes’ rolling control system have beenprogrammed, including the programs of the PLC and the SIMOTION motion control system, as well as the HMI. |
