Satellite communication is an activity intimately related with people’s life in themodern society. For a long time, the medium for satellite communication ismicrowave, with the development of times, the need for communication speed isincreasing continually, the microwave communication meets a bottleneck, andgradually connot satisfy the need of current society. On this condition, the satellitelaser communication technology little by little get widely attention in the world, for itshigher channel capacity, better secrecy performance, smaller equipment volumn, andso on.The modulation and dtection structure of satellite laser communication includesIntensity Modulation/Directly Detection(IM/DD) and Accurately Modulation/Coherent Detection. Although the second structure could achieve the best detectionability, fully express the wide band advantages of laer carrier wave, but it meetsdifficulties on coupling the receiving light signal, and the receiving equipments cost alot, these limit the development and application of this structure. Relatively, theIM/DD structure has advantages of lower costs and technology difficulty, but is weakon channel capacity and detection sensityvity. Therefore, in order to use the IM/DDstructure, it is necessary to increase the channel capacity, and so on.Multiple-in Multiple-out(MIMO) technology is widely used in the field ofelectronics communication, for its anvantages on system channel capacity and errorcontrolling, it has been used on free laser communication(FSO) recent years, and iscalled multiple laser communication technology.This article is based on the multiple laser communication technology, analyses anew encode/decode program on this communication technology, and proceeds thesystem simulation and experimental provement.Firstly, introduces the current situation of the MIMO communication technologyin FSO; secondly, builds the hardware terrace using FPGA and other electronicsequipment, then completes the3-transmitting,3-receiving laser communicationsystem based on the Intensity Composition Encoding, and processes the simulationsand tests of threshold value and bit error rate(BER), gives the test results, confirms thefeasibility of this encoding scheme.The research of this article provides some reference for the application ofIntensity Composition Encoding technology in the multiple laser communicationfield.
