As the aviation technology continues to evolve, the precise test requirements of thehelicopter parts are higher and higher. The steering gear is a very important parts of thehelicopter, steering gear performance is a good or bad impact on the helicopter isessential. As a result, helicopter servo test is an extremely important and meaningfulresearch. From the seventies of last century some began to study the test of the steeringgear, and related research is very rich. With the development of science and technology,the way of test the steering gear has a new direction.This article is based on the practical application of engineering background,designed for a specific model of steering gear of the helicopter test system. The systemis simple and practical, and also has provides a theoretical and practical reference forfuture research in the field of servo test.This paper studies the contents of the helicopter parallel steering gear test benchmechanical structure design, data acquisition hardware platform design of the systemcontrol program.In the design of the mechanical structures of this system, from the choice of avariety of sensors, various parts of the design to the installation of the steering gear,have been the confirmation of the feasibility of market research and processingtechnology, and then the overall layout design.Data acquisition hardware platform design between the loading station and the hostcomputer circuit design, this part of the circuit is mainly responsible for data acquisition,signal conditioning and data communications between the loading station and the hostcomputer.This system sues the loading mode of the electric load, that load the motor torqueto the steering gear, in order to improve the accuracy of the test and clip the responsespeed of the block system, designed a PID controller. Use LabVIEW to simulate theload torque can be seen that the corresponding curve has a very good dynamic andsteady state performance, in addition, the system has a certain gain margin and phasemargin, improved anti-jamming capability of the system.Operating procedures of the system is also written with LabVIEW software,LabVIEW is a graphical programming software, programming is simple, reliable, andboard compatibility, powerful data processing capability, the program interface andfriendly outlook. The entire system from hardware to software, easy to operate, compactstructure, beautiful appearance, meet the man-machine interface, human factorsengineering design requirements.
