The Design And Implementation Of Professional Degree Enrollment Management System Based On Web

With the rapid development of information technology and the continuousincreasing of professional degree postgraduate enrollment, the management systemthat is based on a simple computer aided tool cannot meet the need of the new work.In order to adapt to the development trend of the information technology management,Tianjin University decides to develop Web-based professional degree postgraduateenrollment management system that is regarded enrollment as a key and includes thefunction of candidate registration, examination room and test center management,invigilating teacher management, examination result management, qualificationchecking management, admissions management and others.The system is based on a three-tier Web structure technology of the B/S mode,which is current mainstream mode. The server has used the advanced Struts,Hibernate, Spring integrated framework. PowerBuilder is chosen as the front-enddevelopment tool and the background is supported by Oracle database. WebLogicServer middleware server has made system advanced and expandable..First, the system adopts the structured analysis method, use the flow chart andcase diagram, UML modeling tool to describe the main business processes and systemlogical model from the system administrators, college administrators, co-operationadministrators and candidates perspective to research the system requirements.Secondly, about the design of framework of the system functions, the system includesenrollment management subsystem, system management subsystem and scoreadmission management subsystem, which fully meet the needs of users. The systemincludes14functional modules, such as, candidates registration, admission ticketprinting, the admission line management and system log module. In addition, itprovides database designing of the main function modules. Thirdly, describing therealization of log-in module, enrollment management module, basic data maintenancemodule and candidates registration module. Among them, including the realization offeatures of the operating system logging needle and self-enrollment college systemphase control. Finally, using a combination of functional testing and performancetesting to test and analyze the system.Among the postgraduate enrollment management systems used by Chineseuniversities, few of them can reach the level of the combination of the strongfunctions, generality and reliability, real-time processing capabilities together.Based on advanced ideas and concepts of this system, the paper can provide some valuableadvices and useful references combined with our university implementation case. Itwill be beneficial for mutual learning.The system has been applied in professional degree postgraduate managementsin our university to meet the needs of enrollment management, to improve all offunction of managements, improve the efficiency of works and the quality of students,reduce the repeatability of the work and ensure the information security.
