With the increasing of Web applications, the scale of Web applications expandedand the increasing of the diversity and complexity of the technology achievement, theshrinking of the software development cycle, as an important means to ensure thequality and reliability of Web applications, Web application testing, especiallyperformance test has become an essential part in the software development process. Atthe same time, leads the idea of model-driven into testing field has become a hotresearch in the field of software testing.The thesis introduced the concept, research status, characteristics and testmethods in the background of research and development of the test modeling platformunder the Eclipse platform. The system modeled for tested system by visual testmodeling platform which is provided for testers, and provided automatic scriptgeneration techniques to change the tested system model into test scripts, then testerscan focus on test points and test processes, and avoid spending a lot of effort to writetest scripts. The thesis elaborated the problems and solutions of traditional testingmethods, analyzed the functional requirements of the system, designed the systemhierarchy, divided the system into specific function modules which includes coremodule, visual modeling modules, test script generation modules and so on. At lastimplemented the system, tested and verified it by Loadrunner.Model-driven testing methods improved the level of test automation and testefficiency, solved identification problems of test failures, found faults which weredifficult to find in other testing techniques, ensured the quality of the software better.It is conducive to reuse of test cases, and make use of mature theories andtechnologies to get perfect analysis results. Compared to the general automated testing,model-driven testing could save a lot of time which is used to write test scripts, reducethe workload of the test system development effectively. Improved the efficiency ofthe test design, reduced the cost of test maintenance. At the same time, imported thetest script into Loadrunner which is used widely could not only satisfy the the testingneeds of users, but also reduce the cost of testers learning test scripts. It could improvethe efficiency of the test greatly.
