As an important part of the computer monitoring system,configuration softwareis applied to unattended remote monitoring,data acquisition and measurement,dataanalysis,process control and other industries。In order to meet the needs of thepractical application,configuration software is becoming the soul of industrialautomation systems. Along with the fact that social progress and the acceleration ofinformation speed,Configuration Software is not only applied in industrial enterprises,but also in agriculture, environmental protection, telecommunications, laboratory,transportation, aviation and other industries. From this,the development and promotionof the configuration software has broad application prospects. Therefore, VC-basedmonitoring configuration software which can be used for experimental tests wasresearched and developed. This subject is based on the project “The Research ofIntelligent Optimizing Setting Method for Shaft Furnace Roasting Process Based onMulti-Objective Evaluation”, which belongs to the National Natural Science Foundation.The main work is as follows:1. The structure and function of configuration software were designed to meetthe needs of the laboratory platform for process control. Software architecture isintroduced, which has three elements: the system development environment, thesystem operating environment and real-time database. The functional components ofthe graphical interface module, the communication module, the intelligent module andthe real-time database module were also designed for the configuration software.2. According to the design of the structure and function, the program isdeveloped using Visual C++6.0. It uses multiple documents/view structure onstructure. The graphical user interface was developed by graphical editing andanimation connections; based on the communication mechanism ofOLE/COM/DCOM of OPC, the communication module was developed to build theconnection between applications; the intelligent reasoning module was also realizedbased on case-based reasoning technology, which can be adapted to the complexprocess control tasks; the function and design idea of real-time database were alsodiscussed.3. According to the test principle, a specific test program was designed to makesure that the software can run correctly. The effect of software development of the graphical interface was tested by drawing and saving graphics; the communicationmodule was tested by connecting OPC client with PLC and data acquisition,anddesign and implementation of the relevant class of real-time database. The effect ofintelligent reasoning module, based on case-reasoning technology, was verified for therequests of laboratory application. The operation results show that the software canread and write data, the graphical interface can easily develop and the reasoningmodule is correct and effective.4. The configuration software was applied in the process of ore smelting. Thetemperature of the melting pot, bushing, the flue and the combustion-supporting windcan be able to real-time monitoring, etc. The experiments shows that configurationsoftware have good man-machine interface, the data is able to real-time transmission,the system was Stable and reliable.
