It is the root to give birth to the intelligent building, for the requirements of majority. Housing surveillant is developing to intelligentizing progressively, and is more and more paid attention to, as the important part of the intelligent building.Be different from traditional industrial video monitoring system, intelligent housing surveillant has the following characteristics of the great advantage and bright future:much easier, more widespread, and more intelligent. In order to bring enormous benefits, intelligent housing surveillant should be researched and developed deeply and widely. The system is worked by the software of cascade type. By analyzing the requirement of general users for housing surveillant, it aims at the requirement to analysis and design the system. By using the Role Network Theory, people can get the corresponding soft structure mode and build the intelligent housing surveillant structure following the mode.The server runs under combined the video capture technology, network communications technology, and serial communications technology grouply, which adopts Client/Server mode and Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol in LAN. It aims at monitoring the invaders without any operator on duty by motion detection in the part of intelligentizing. By researching the Video for Windows technology, multi-threading correspondence technology, and serial communications technology, the function of the system would be analyzed on functional modularization. Wireless camera is adopted in the front image capturing facility, and client would accept then display the image data, the server also would receive the Pan-tilt controlling information. Then the server collects, displays, transforms, compresses, saves, and sends the video image to monitor moving objects by the time differencing method(a kind of technology of the mobile detection), then receives the Pan-tilt controlling information. These above functions for this system have been reached the expected goal by designing and testing successfully.
