Food warehouses is an significant segment in the food supply chain, therefore, the environment of food warehouse can impact the quality of the food and security of the food supply chain. In order to prevent the food in warehouse going bad and man-made disaster, the research object of this paper is a nodes in internet of things for the system of food warehouse based on internet of things, then, designed solutions which is a network based on wireless sensor combined with the actual needs of the specific food warehouse.Firstly, this paper introduces the definition of Internet of things, the status and environment of development for this kind of technology in china and other countries.Secondly, this paper emphasized that the system in food warehouses based on Internet of things played an important role in operation of food warehouses in secure and efficient way after analyzing the needs of security and logistics, then made conclusion that establishing the system of food warehouses based on the Internet of things is very essential.Thirdly, this item built a architecture of Internet of things for collection platform of environment information in warehouse. It includes application layer, transport layer and the perception layer. The item also studied the technical routes of system and equipment selection, meanwhile, the hardware design of system has been summarized and each module has been depicted explicitly. The software for environmental information collecting in warehouse and alarm function of abnormal condition has already been written.After testing the system, the system which is designed by this item can not only achieve collection of environmental information and monitoring in food warehouse in real-time way, but also can give an alarm while abnormal situations occurred. The item achieves the desired purpose.
