Based on information technologies such as cloud computing, Internet of Things and GIS, nowadays traditional tourism is experiencing a qualitative leap forward to a more intelligent one. Intelligent tourism emphasizes on three elements, namely smart service, smart marketing and smart management. In order to deepen personalized experiences of tourists, but also to promote the development of service model of information tourism, many local governments and scenic areas are now actively accelerating such a construction. It is a long process for tourism areas to accomplish transformation towards intelligent ones. However, significant information infrastructures and technology research can lay the foundation to the above process.Through an in-depth analysis of scheduling and dispatching of guides, this paper investigated the topic of dynamic dispatching based on RFID, which could improve the management efficiency and provide better experience for tourists. Main points in this paper are as follows:Followed by an analysis of factors influencing guides scheduling, this paper defined several basic factors, including dynamic and static ones. Meanwhile, through expertise library and expert system, factors could be evaluated automatically, which would be input parameters for scheduling algorithm. Based on rough set theory, a relative fair and reasonable method was built to solve the scheduling problem. In addition, a self-serve evaluation method was built to collect real grades given by tourists about service quality.Based on the Thiessen approach, a scheme for setting up RFID readers was put forward. Meanwhile, this paper built an approach for collecting, transferring and storing location data. To improve the accuracy of location, the distance intersecting method was used in this paper. A new prediction model of arrival time was built, and a method to calculate the congestion of guiding route was also put forward. In addition, on the basis of scheduling, this paper set up a mechanism to push and confirm quickly guiding mission. Based on SOA, this paper could push current status data to guides executing guiding mission, thus guides could make reasonable choices according to these data. An approach for guide equilibrium was set up to avoid congestion around some hot spots. At last, after preprocessing the scenic area data and assembling hardware, this paper designed and implemented a prototype system to validate the methods. By realistic operation, the feasibilities of different methods in this paper were proved.
