| As one of the important Confucian classics, the Notes and Commentaries of the Analects of Confucius which was block-printed by RuanYuan was recognized as the best version. Because of its hurried textual criticism and engraving, and has been reproduced from Tongzhi dynasty to the Rupublic of China, it has many errors. The article based on the point-based the Notes and Commentaries of the Analects of Confucius edited by Zhonghua Shuju as the master copy, the other three are the version of Nanchangfu of Jiaqing dynasty, the version of Min, the Si Ku Quan Shu version. The proofreaders are Daoguang version, Zunjingge version, Jiangxishuju version, Maiwangxian version, Dianshizhai version, Shijieshuju version, Guangdong version, Shu version and Yuhaitang version. There are many differences which can correct the RuanYuan version. This article is written to explain the general information of the Analects of Confucius for scholors’ reference. |
