As the Internet develops rapidly, there is dramatic improvement for its coverage, itstransmission speed and the software applied over internet. Instant messaging software is used moreand more widely in daily life for each year. Instant messaging software represented by QQ, MSNand Fetion plays an important role for information communication.While users of instant messaging software surges, more and more material of instant messagingsoftware comes into field of judicature as important evidence during the process of lawsuit.Whilethe person identity of instant communication voice is difficult to confirm, the proof strengthencounters doubt, which results that the value of instant communication voice is not completelygiven out during lawsuit at present. Thus it is necessary to make judicature authentication in orderto confirm the person identity of instant communication voice. How to make Forensic VoiceIdentification accurately is really a conundrum. The difference between instant communicationvoice and normal voice rests with the relative process of collected voice signal by instantcommunication software during transmission for outputting simplified and effective voice signal.For this reason the authentication of instant communication voice differentiates from theauthentication of normal voice Beforetime there is no special study for the property of instantcommunication voice and for how to make identity authentication through its property.This thesis designs corresponding experiment for property study of instant communication voice.In this thesis totally10types of representative instant messaging software such as Fetion, ICQ, MSN, POPO,QQ, Skype, UC, Yahoo, YY, and aliwangwang, etc are used for the study of theircharacteristic depending on different sampling frequency. Meanwhile this thesis designs voicesampling managerial program for management of voice sampling with multiple function such assample storage, query, voice play and picture display, etc. This thesis analyzes and generalizesproperties of different instant communication voice software under variable sampling frequencyfrom multiple aspects. Thus some rules are summed up for judicature authentication of voiceidentity, which will be used to resolve cases of common pleas and criminal pleas with evidence ofinstant communication voice.The technology of voice authentication plays a significant role for the approval of evidence byjudge as its wide application in lawsuit. As the Internet promulgates, instant communication voicesoftware is used more and more widely. This thesis summarizes and concludes the property ofinstant communication voice. Applying the property in Forensic Voice Identification makes up thevacancy of judicature authentication. Thereby the confusion that instant communication voice isdifficult to be utilized in authentication is resolved. It also enhances the proof strength of voicematerial during common pleas, while supplying fundamental clue for investigation department tocapture suspected person during criminal lawsuit.Totally there are five chapters in this thesis. In the first chapter there is the general descriptionabout Forensic of Voice, which includes the development situation about Forensic of Voicenationally and internationally. In the second chapter this article describes Forensic VoiceIdentification, which includes theory and method of voice authentication. In the third chapter itdescribes the study experiment of the characteristic of instant messaging voice. There aredescriptions of experiment contents and experiment steps. The introduction of design mentalityand function implementation of voice sampling database is also included in this chapter. In thefourth chapter it analyses the characteristic of instant messaging voice. This chapter mainlyanalyzes the characteristic of instant messaging voice under condition of8000Hz samplingfrequency. It also summarizes those characteristics of instant messaging voice with other samplingfrequency. In the fifth chapter it describes the application of study result in the field of ForensicVoice Identification. The instant messaging voice characteristic is summarized and used inForensic Voice Identification.Those innovation points relies as follows:(1) Voice sample managerial program is developed tomanage all voice samples uniformly in experiments.(2) Data from experiment is analyzed through different aspect, then characteristic of instant communication voice is summarized.(3) The studyresult is applied in judicature to resolve difficulty of voice authentication.
