A Research On Multidimensional View Of Economic News On Newspapers

With the establishment and improvement of China’s socialist market economy,the rise and prosperity of capital markets, and the national rising demand foreconomic information which presents a variety trends, economic news also becameone of the most popular types of news. However, many people cannot understand theeconomic news, and all these severely restricted the positive use of economic news inour economic life. How to improve the readability of the economic news is a problemabout the report ways, including how to choose a reporting view. In fact, to makeeconomic news lively, constructing the multidimensional view can yet be regarded asa kind of effective method, and it will improve economic news significantly.This paper has selected some newspaper reports as a case study. Such as ChinaBusiness Journal,21st Century Business Herald, the Economic Observer, People’sDaily and so on. It carried out how to construct the multidimensional view ofeconomic news on the basis of literature search and logical association amonggrooming information. First，the paper defined the economic news, expounded theeconomic characteristics and its development process in detail, analyzed the newchanges of economic news under the new conditions of market economy, andsummed up the view of economic news reports in the past. Second, the paperproposed the factors which are influencing the selection of view of economic news:the value of news, editorial policy of the media and conflicts between differentinterest-groups, and analyzed the current problems of economic news. Finally, thepaper put forward some methods of how to construct the multidimensional view andmade some suggestions on how to build up the multidimensional perspective, such asusing all different themes of economic news, highlighting the guidance of economicnews with political view, revealing the inherent law in economic activities witheconomic view, talking economic events with civilian view and paying attention tothe edge economic news in multiple horizon.This paper combined theories and characteristics of journalism with principles ofeconomic news based on the summarization of research results and practicalexperience, in order to explore a new economic report way especially the choice ofview.
