Distributed spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (DS-SAR) is a new kind ofspaceborne SAR system. Compared to traditional spaceborne SAR systems, DS-SARcan characteristics of low cost, miniaturization, multi-mode imaging. In the keytechnologies, the first is to creat a set of orthogonal properties transmission signals tosolve the problem of separating the signal. Another, we need an efficient way to dealwith massive data in simulation and verification work.In order to solve the above problems, the paper focuses on orthogonal waveformdesign, the characteristics of the orbit of spaceborne SAR bistatic SAR equivalent slantrange model, distributed spaceborne SAR echo signal model, multi-channel echosimulator several ways to carry out the research. The main contribution of this paperand self-innovation points are shown as follows:1. This paper presents a double chirp rate signal (DFMS) and FDM-LFM signal,and derives the relationship between the various parameters. A design method oftransmit signal waveforms which both have orthogonal and doppler tolerancecharacteristics is given at this part.2. In order to solve the problem of double root at the distance calculation, weproposes a equivalent distance model based on polynomial expansion and distancecompensation. After the analysis of the SAR echo model, we give the echo signal highaccuracy and fast simulation algorithm which suitable for hardware acceleration.3. This paper realizes a multi-channel SAR echo simulator which based on FPGA.And a description of the various functional modules follows.4. At last part, we verifies the correctness and efficiency of distributed spaceborneSAR echo simulator...
