Since the extremely wide spectrum of3.1GHz-10.6GHz for commercialapplication was released by FCC, there has been a surge in the demand forultra-wideband antenna used for utility systems. Antennas with characteristics ofcomplanation and miniaturization and some special features are hot topics in the searchof ultra-wideband antennas.First of all, this thesis presented a new structural of UWB antenna whitch is accordingto the basis of predecessors’ research on UWB microstrip antenna. The optimizedantenna owns a symmetrical structure which is easy to fabricate. And then the powerdivider was simulated and the results meet the design requirements.Next this thesis designed the antenna array on the basis of the monopole antennasimulation. But in the actual design process we should consider the coupling effectbetween two antennas. And the UWB antenna array design success finally by parameteradjustment.Finally, the band-rejected structure is realized by adding arc-shaped slot, oneoptimized arc-shaped slot and some pour u-shaped slots is embedded to the new UWBantenna array which has band-stop feature. The antenna has a wide bandwidth withnotches at WLAN (5.1-5.9GHz) and ITU (8.0-8.4GHz). A good radiation pattern is alsoachieved. And then we apply time-domain simulation on two kinds of antenna. Andeventually we can come to the conclusion that this antenna arry could transmit the pulsesignal distortionless.
