As a excellent product of modern logistics technology and automation technology, AS/RS(Automatic Storage&Retrieval System), which is an important part of the logistics system is the storage, handling, transport and distribution in one, develops rapidly and plays an important role in social AS/RS. The slotting optimization of the AS/RS is a very critical aspect in the storage process, the automation requirement in the higher tobacco industry, especially cigarette distribution center, the slotting optimization plays a vital role to improve the efficiency of the entire distribution center, however, due to AS/RS is a complex integrated system, the cigatette storage location affect the operating efficiency of the storage system directly. In order to improve the S cigarette distribution center warehouse operations efficiency, requirements of optimizing to the cargo space, to reduce the time of the cigarette in the loss of access and the storage process, so as to reduce logistics costs. Therefore, it has an important economic value and theoretical significance to research the slotting optimization S cigarette distribution center.According to the cargo space allocation problem for the S cigarette distribution center, this thesis used nonlinear optimization theory to carrying out the mathematical model of location assignment, and solved the model combining with genetic algorithm (GA) and MATLAB software and other related theories, thus the warehousing strategy of the cigarette distribution center was proposed. The content of this thesis are as follows:Firstly, this thesis proposed background and significance, overview of the development of automatic storage and tobacco logistics in China, introduced the concept of the warehousing strategy and slotting optimization, and research in this field, introduction of the slotting optimization methods by the basic idea of the slotting optimization management. Analysis and comparison of several intelligent optimization algorithm, select using genetic algorithms (GA) to solving out.Secondly, as the research object for the S cigarette distribution center, obtain the relevant data through field research and collecting, find out the inadequacies of the S cigarette distribution center’s storage, te analysis has been addressed by the optimization model is a multi-objective optimization problem.Finally, obtained six groups weight combination of the multi-objective optimization problem, using the theory of the genetic algorithm (GA) and MATLAB software to solve the optimization model, has been the optimization results and Slotting Optimization renderings in6different target weight combinations. Analysis of the optimization results, thereby obtaining warehousing strategy for the S cigarette distribution center is the sixth group of the optimization results under the weight combination.By the research and analysis of this thesis, overview of the slotting optimization basic idea for the AS/RS, especially for the application of the genetic algorithm (GA) and MATLAB, while conducted the slotting optimization for the S cigarette distribution center, but also proposed a feasible method for the commercial tobacco loogistics’s slotting optimization issues, has a good practical reference and application value for the related slotting optimization and location assignment.
