Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is an emerging wireless communication network technology, which has the main characteristics of short-range, low-power, low-rate, low-cost, distributed, self-organizing and so on. With the fiery development of the Internet of Things Industry and the IPv6is upcoming commercial applications,the technology Internet of Things of Wireless Sensor Networks in conjunction with the IPv6technology has been valued by academic and corporation fields in and abroad,and is considered to be one of the the most important technology in the21st century.The paper achieves the Modbus, and Mbus serial communication protocol in the wireless sensor communication nodes, through which wireless sensor network node is able to connect a variety of industrial sensors and devices, thus further expanding the wireless sensor networks in industrial applications and contributing the wireless sensor network technology to the fields of industrial applications.By using the TI’s ultra-low-power processor MSP430F5438, with256KB FLASH,16KB RAM and25MIPS computing performance, and the RF module of CC2520with the RF front-end CC2591portfolio, Paper’s hardware solution based on TI’s optimized reference program design,can be a good to meet the demand for wireless development based on IEEE802.15.4protocol, and provide a substantial link budget and effective communication distance. Software solution uses the6LoWPAN supported,easily transplanted, open source and lightweight Contiki embedded operating system and the serial communication module of the Modbus and Mbus integration,so this is not only fill the blank of serial communication module in Contiki OS, but also combins the traditional industrial control protocols Modbus and Mbus. The final test show that:the serial communication module can be run well on the hardware and software system, and also meet the needs of the practical applications.
