As the improvement of manufacturing technology and integrated circuittechnology, electronic equipment is developing towards miniaturization.Wearable computers are getting more and more popular. Traditional w earablecomputer design method is based on COTS technology, and this will cause thewearable computer power consumption and a waste in both size and cost. Theemergence of dynamic reconfigurable technology provides a new way to developwearable computers. By loading reconfigurable module dynamically, you cansimulate a variety of peripherals, offers a variety of hardware algorithms toimprove the wearable computer’s ability to adapt to the environment.But developing wearable computer software based on the dynamicreconfigurable technology requires software developers to understand theworking principle of FPGA, thereby greatly enhancing the difficulty ofdeveloping applications. This dynamic reconfigurable wearable computersoftware platform is designed to help developers to develop applications.Dynamic reconfigurable wearable computer software platform shields dynamicreconfigurable hardware modules, provides developers with a unified softwareAPI, the implementation of a transparent programming; define applicationpackaging specifications, to achieve unified management of the application;develop a graphical desktop environment, reducing the user’s difficulty;provides a software development library, improve the efficiency of softwaredevelopment. The major work is as follows:1. Analysis needs of dynamic reconfigurable wearable computer, learn howthe dynamic reconfigurable wearable computer works, determine the dynamicreconfigurable hardware solutions.2. Select Dynamic Reconfigurable wearable computer operating systemkernel, setup the development environment, develop CPLD and FPGA devicedrivers, design dynamic reconfigurable module software API, determine theprinciples of software platform and application software’s development andimplementation.3. Develop the dynamic reconfigurable wearable computer softwareplatform, graphical desktop systems, manage application packages, input methodand system registry, develop video player, application manager and networkmanagement application, read and parse GPS data.4. Develop communication subsystem for Dynamic Reconfigurable wearable computer software platform, to support communications betweenheterogeneous network and provide encrypted communication, rightsmanagement and other functions.
