The Virtual Reality Walkthrough System Design And Culture Dissemination Of Tibetan Traditional Architecture

In various chinese national architectures，tibetan traditional architecture is arepresentative which contains material and spiritual civilization in Tibet Plateau.Like other ethnic architecuture of different regions and years， tibetan traditionalarchitecture is caughting in a contradiction resulting from rapid urban developmentand cultural loss. For the correct understanding of the tibetan traditionalarchitectural culture，to achieve the protection and communication of traditionaltibetan architectural culture and enhance the public awareness of ethnic cultureincreasingly fragile in the process of urbanization，this paper explores the specificdesign approach of virtual tibetan traditional architecture walkthrough system andthe methods to disseminate tibetan architecture culture by digital technology. In thispaper， for the protection and continuous development of chinese ethnicarchitecture culture， The author puts forward to the innovative viewpoints andstrategies.Firstly，based on the definition of architecture culture in the architectonics，this paper makes a a comprehensive and objective analysis to the tibetan traditionalarchitecture， including its background， inspiration and artistic features.Theresearch highlights the dominance and importance of religion throughout theformation of tibetan architecture culture. The ethnic，historic，times and symbolicfeatures is not only the characters of the tibetan but also the similarities of all kindsof ethnic buildings.Secondly，refer to various materials relating to the Tibetan architecture，andbased on the purpose of the design，and the article defines the design principlessupported by the theoretical basis including the construction phenomenology，cognitive psychology design principles of psychology and emotional design ofhierarchical design theory. Finally， through the combination of the referencematerials， design principles and the technological features of design engine，finish the entire system and achieve its interactive function on vision，audition andfeeling to create better cultural experience for users.Finally， based on the theory evidence of the communication and thearchitecture， combined with the characteristics of the system’s digitaltechnology， this paper research the digital communication of the tibetanarchitecture culture from its conditions，factories and mode. Through the processof culture communication， the features different form traditional media and the importance to the protection and dissemination of traditional culture by theapplication of the walkthrough system are confirmed.For the most extensive culture communication and users’ satisfaction，it’s anadvanced choice to present，protect and disseminate traditional culture by the useof virtual reality technology. The paper advocates the viewpoint that the virtualreality walkthrough system could be a new carrier of architectural culture，makinguse of the practical software and hardware to supply creative ideas for theinheritance and innovation of traditional culture， to provide a new balancebetween the career of development and protection.
