Design And Implementation Of Vocational College Students’ Dormitories Management System Based On B/S Mode

In recent years, with expansion of the scale in Hebei Vocational College of ForeignLanguages, the number of students increased year by year. Dormitories are importantspaces for student to live, accommodate and study, thus, dormitory management isparticularly important in guaranteeing the students has a safe and comfortableenvironment in dormitories. At present, there have been more and more colleges anduniversities who began to apply computer science and technology in the managementwork, then realized the paperless work, and also have achieved good results. Thus, thedevelopment and application of dormitory management system has become the inevitabletrend in college management.In this paper, based on the status of Hebei Vocational College of Foreign Languagesand field survey, obtain the related information about the school, which conduct thedesign of dormitory management system.In the design process, first of all, has discussed about the technical which is basedon comparison of the analysis about functional characteristics of the related technologies,the writer chooses B/S structure in system mode selection, in the technical aspects ofsystem, chooses the SQL Server as database platform to ensure the accuracy andcompleteness of the data.Secondly, according to the actual needs of work, divide system into six functionmodules, namely, information input, information inquiry, dormitory distribution,statistical information, user settings, data management, and in the six modules set somecorresponding subdirectories, satisfy the needs of practical work.Finally, test and apply the system, through using the system, managers can input、inquire or renew the dormitory information of students. Furthermore, the system also canassign student dormitory automatically, which greatly reduce the workload of managersand improve the accuracy of the information. It achieves the expected design objective.
