The Upgrading And Reconstruction Of Tang Shan Vocational Technical College Campus Network

With the rapid development of IT from21st century, university information systemalso has a steady progress. The installment of the first computer in the departmentindicates that colleges and universities come to realize the importance of informationconstruction.The campus network construction is an important part of universityconstruction, the level of the construction reflects the university ’s whole level of school,school image, and school status. The research on campus network’s reconstruction andupgrading, which helps to diversify the existing campus network system. It has the greatsignificance for network management’s intelligence and simplification,it also help lowerthe cost of the Campus Network. This paper take the campus network in TangshanVocational and Technical College for example, discuss the related issues of planning andconstruction from the aspects on the demand from the campus network, the design ofcampus network and the specific programs to achieve it.First, this paper introduces the present research situation and development trend ofcampus network. On the basis of analyzing the existing disadvantages of the campusnetwork, this paper analyzes the present situation,the construction and security of campusnetwork of Tangshan Vocational and Technology College.It finds out the problems ofcampus network,and to give a system designing goal.Second, this paper designs the scheme of campus network system upgrade reform ofTangshan Vocational and Technology College.It puts forward the general designingthought of the campus network, and determines the network topology.It also carrys on adetailed design of network core, wireless network module and VPN,thus establishes theidea for the whole campus network design and implementation.Furthermore, it introduces in detail the overall design scheme for the renovation ofthe implementation process. Successively introducing configuration concrete realizationmethod of the parameters and the configuration of the process about the core switches,access and convergence layer, export equipment, and wireless network which thebackbone network of the campus network foundation.Finally, executing upgrading test on the reconstruction of the campus network. Themain work is making test about performance of campus network after upgrading,containing connectivity testing, network reliability testing and routing reliability test,through detailed analysis of the testing result and making comparison with former campusnetwork on parameters, then concluded that the network prone to bottlenecks, and find outthe problems of the transformation.
