It takes too much time and resources to build a real network environment for attackand defense experiments on network, and its value in use and scale is limited.Concerning this problem and based on the project of the network target environmentsimulation, this thesis focused on the construction of network target environmentplatform. It tries to provide a network environment which is close to real networkenvironment.First, by studying some popular network construction techniques and simulationtools, this thesis bring up a friendly Network Target Environment Simulation Platformwhich is based on Windows OS and layered in architecture. The platform is connectedto the real network through agent ARP. This thesis realizes the network construction oftwo kinds: Semi-physical Network and Distributed Integration Simulation Network.Semi-physical Network improves the reliability and facility of the simulation networkby connecting the physical hosts to the simulation platform. And the DistributedIntegration Simulation Network realizes Large-Scale Network Simulation through GREtunnel technique.And then we configure the device properties using characteristic templates in orderto make the simulation devices have the ability to provide services. The platform cansimulate link characteristics such as time delay and packets lost rate by using bufferpool as the interface between the network devices. It realizes real time monitoring ofdevices dataflow through hook technique, saves and resolves network topology in theform of self-defined topology file.Last, we make experiments on our platform’s function and performance. Theresults show that the platform is able to provide network services, permits route probeand safety scan. |
