With the popularization of information technology in recent years, electronic LED display has been more widely used in daily life, work and business activities in various fields. Reliability, resolution and uptime of the traditional display are constantly improving, it can be described as improving in each passing day. In the trend of the moment, the sudden emergence of a new LED rotating display, go a long way to become one of the trends of the next mainstream display. This called POV LED display, used application of human visual persistence phenomenon, greatly simplify the current mainstream hardware configuration of the LED display.The device applied current fashion technologies such as RF communication, wireless power supply and can achieve multi-dimensional&color visual display.For data compression, in recent decades has always been the research focus. Especially for today’s age of information explosion, data storage has been unable to meet the geometric growth of the information.Multimedia applications, including data storage&transmission must be effective compression to conserve limited resources. In this article, use RF communication technology for data transfer, information updating and device control. Large amounts of data must be efficient algorithm for the pre-treatment in order to improve the efficiency of the system. In this article, selected the LZSS algorithm as research basis.Change the mode of data compress window to optimize the algorithm and improve the efficiency of data transmission.The hardware system, using a modular design,include power supply module, magnetic&infrared sensing module, RF module,SD storage module, clock module, display module and the core control module.In software,using the DXP2004software for circuit design, to generate PCB board and wiring.Using the Keil uVision2software in C language and assembly language programming. The existing generic driver module has been modify, improve and transplanted into the new system.This paper completed the hardware design and the development of special software, transplant generic driver, compression algorithm optimization.The combination of wireless power supply, RF communications, flash storage and LED display created a new LED display branch.Finally, the completed jobs was summarized in the thesis. The shortcomings and the methods that need to be improved were pointed out in the paper, which made some guidance for the further study.
