| With people’s increased awareness of traffic safety and with the development of motorcycle detection technique, the testing production of motorcycle safety and performance gets into a rapid development period. The motorcycle speed ranging device is a brand new detection equipment of motorcycle road testing. In recent years, motorcycle detection applies to many other areas. More and more motorcycle detection agencies use the testing data of these equipments to judge the qualified safety and performance of motorcycle. Therefore, the accuracy and reliability of these detection data play an important role, and these equipments must go through measuring. This dissertation focuses on the design of the motorcycle speed ranging device. After collecting many relevant national standards, commissioning, testing, and data analyses, a motorcycle speed ranging device is designed to address the problem of traceability. Considering the differences of testing methods and equipments’performances for different manufactures, this design using simulation wheel to test from different type of sensors of motorcycle speed ranging device and controlling the motor and the speed controller to drive the simulation wheel. In the same time, the high accuracy encoder is used as a sensor and the single chip microcomputer is used as a system controller unit to measure wheel speed. Finally, the uncertainty analysis of experimental data confirms the traceability requirements of the motorcycle speed ranging device. |
