Electronics industry is the foundation of the national economy, and SMT technology is the most popular technology in the electronic industry. As the core equipment of the placement machine mainly rely on foreign imports. Development of advanced technology, able to industrialization of the new placement machine to our country national economy development and the progress of science and technology play an important role.This paper use the modular design thought, function decomposition of SMT machine, further to various functional modularization, seriation. Designed the strong adaptability and can be further integrated into the next generation of advanced technology of modularization SMT machine.Core components of SMT machine x-y focuses on mechanical design and analysis, based on ansys screw guide rail of the static characteristic and dynamic characteristic simulation analysis was carried out. In view of the high precision x-y, servo screw error elimination method is put forward. Design of servo screw, linear motor two x-y manipulator module, meet different needs. Optimization model is established for y beam structure parts, based on ansys is solved. High speed and high precision x-y system operation, in this paper, the ladder type and S type motion law is studied. Based on ADAMS, the dynamics of the system simulation analysis. This paper designed the SMT machine vision positioning system, and analyses the technical parameters of each components. Is simulated by using matlab for image algorithm. Mechanical and control system was built based on ADAMS and matlab joint simulation platform.
