| With the development of network technology and the popularity of the Internet, people’sdemand for information is growing, the internet information consumption is separated from thereal consumer spending and labor consumption, it getting rid of the attachment.We live in an eraof information, Information consumption has becoming the indispensable part of our daily life,such an lives, clothing, food and traveling. Information consumption use us more than a quarterof the24hours, also, it changes humanity’s Behavior patterns. Internet information consumptionbecoming stronger and stronger, and get the first place of information consumption.Anyway, the technology reforms frequently, the social environment changes rapidly, now,the fragmentation of the main consumer demand, consumer object connotation fragmentedconsumer environment is also showing fragmentation trend. Fragmentation is the newest andmost apparent feature of the internet information consumption, fragmentation becoming afashion word of this era.During this study, I use several research methods including literature analysis and caseanalysis. The paper start from the fragmentation feature of the internet information consumption,summarize the character, found out the reason of them, analyze the content and form’s changesof the traditional culture which the fragmentation brings. This study gives the perspective of bothcommunication and literature. When the internet information consumption turns fragmentation,it may effects the traditional culture, in order to find the effect, i wrote this paper. First of all, thispaper starting from two dimension,the first is the facts dimensions,the second is the significancedimensions.In this two dimensions, I summarized the feature of the fragmentedconsumption.For example, the main consumer separated in to small parts, the consumer contentbecome several points, the media of consumer becoming litter object such as Table PC andcellular phone. The fragmented feature can be found everywhere during the internet informationconsumption, just like the air to our human beings.Second of all, given the fragmentation of consumer Internet information generated diversityand complexity of factors, this paper study the reason from tree points, the technical, theenvironment and the individual factor, explore the reason of the information consumption turnfragmentation. Thirdly, I shifted my attention to the field of culture, study the effect from the fragmentation,find the difference which brings to the culture, such as the traditional culture’s deconstructionand reconstruction, and also, in three points: visually, popular and diverse.Finally, in the basisof the grasp cultural evolution,i did the further investigation of the effect what the informationconsumption turn fragmentation brings to the culture.All in all, information consumption is a new word coming to our daily life, and becomeindivisible with us.No matter what we do, it always inseparable. Information consumption alsochanged the traditional culture. The culture changes towards visualization, increasinglydependent on our eyes. Internet subculture changed the right to speak, what is more, it brings arich and diverse culture form.Each coin has two sides, when information consumption brings us convenience, it alsogives us some difficulties. But what we must admit is that,the culture is constantly evolving, thesociety continues to progress, new type culture becomes inclusive.
