Application And Research Of Web Mining At Distance Education Personalized Learning System

With the continuous development of science and technology, people’s daily life isconstantly changing; so is the way people seek to pursue their education. In addition tostudy in the traditional school or training agencies, more and more people choose to stayat home learning through distance education system, which not only enables them tomake a face-to-face interaction with those famous teachers but also charges them at anacceptable cost. Nowadays, distance education is becoming a popular trend in the futureeducation area and will bring an unprecedented advance learning experience for people.Personalized learning distance education system, catering to the practical needs inthe distance education, puts forward an implementation method which combines thepersonalized learning activities with the target members. The design of the systemfollows the software design theory and achieves requirements analysis, general design,detailed design, and software testing process. The main contents of this paper includefive aspects:(1) As to the issues of information silos and scattered resources in the currentpersonalized learning distance education system, we propose the establishment of a B/Smode distance education system characteristics of personalized learning;(2) By means of unified modeling language technology, we establish the systemrequirements model, business model, and data mining model to facilitate system designand implementation;(3) Through a visual way we achieve the personalized learning withrecommended courseware in the case of Web data mining, and the design is used in theform of classes and interfaces, which improves the flexibility of process management;(4) The structure of the system uses the MVC design pattern, and on this basis itincreases the expanded communication layer between personalized learning and otherbusiness systems, which improves system scalability and maintainability;(5) The SSH framework technology is integrated into distance education system,which enhances the technology advancement and code reusability.The personalized learning distance education system improves the digital framestructure, reflecting the advanced management concepts, and will promote information construction process of the distance education. The system combines the standardizeddocument management, information flow and learning flow, which achieves the digitalmanagement of resources and improves repeated resource utilization. The system can beput to use to provide a scientific, standardized and informative management platformfor the development of distance education.
