The research and development has entered a standardized,systematic fast lane.Shenyang Power Supply Company is responsible for electricity supplying for alarge number of user’s within the scope of Shenyang. Due to a huge amount users, resultin difficulty to use the effective human and material resources to carry out the workduring the meter reading. Due to manual meter reading, error situation often occurs. Sothe use of advanced computer hardware and software technology to achieve remoteautomatic meter reading has become an irreversible trend.This thesis uses a meter collection, data concentrator; RS-232meter and otherequipment to make hardware deployment; use Visual Basic develop techniques to makesystem code; based on Visual Basic6.0platform to design system and useSQLServer2005to make data storage and maintenance; designed and implemented aremote meter reading system. System design uses standard software design process,according to our meter reading management status and objective reality of ShenyangPower Supply Company. Make my long-term work as a starting point, analysis userneeds, defining design goals, building the system’s hardware and software architecture.Use SQLServer2005database to complete the system design and implementation. BuiltVisual Basic6.0development platform and use Visual Basic language for the system’scoding. Implement a remote metering, parameter setting, communication port settings,information inquiries and other core functions. Through interconnection andcommunications with the underlying hardware platform, make implementation ofremote meter reading system.Finally build system test environment, making functional verification andperformance testing for remote meter reading system and analysis test results. Tests show that: the remote meter reading system developed in this thesis met the practicalapplication needs of meter reading and meet expectation development goals. |
