The Study On The Information Service Of The Libraries Of The Higher Vocational Colleges In Anhui Province

During recent years, higher vocational education in Anhui province has been developing at a high speed, providing strong support for the strategy of developing province by talented people. As an important information resource center of higher vocational colleges, the libraries provide important information resource guarantee for higher vocational education and cultivation of professional talents.Through analyzing and investigating information service of libraries in higher vocational colleges, this paper summarizes the achievements as well as problems in this area. The following aspects mainly lead to these problems: poor external conditions, weak original foundation, laggard service concept, low personnel quality, poor management, deficiency in digitalization of library storages and characteristic database as well as insufficient resources co-construction and sharing.The research demonstrates: external conditions of the libraries, intensifying investment, transforming service concept, strengthening the management of service personnel, developing overall modern information service work, strengthening the interlibrary cooperation and resources sharing, carrying out Library characteristic database construction work step by step as well as enhancing personnel training.
