WSN is a new emerging technology with multidisciplinary integration to obtain information and has wide application prospect in many fileds of the society. The WSN system of cyanobacteria monitoring is a typical application system in the envinroment monitoring. The cyanobacteria monitoring system gathers the data information periodically from monitoring area and passes it to the distance administrative center. The nodes need to consume plenty of energy due to continuous work and the energy is unease to supple,so the the low power feature is required in the cyanobacteria monitoring system. On the other hand, routing protocol for WSN has great application realtivity so existing classical routing protocol can hardly meet the demond of all the applicatiom system. Therefore, on the background cyanobacteria monitoring and on the foundation of classical LEACH routing protocol, the author designs a routing protocol with the feature of low power.This paper constructs the system architecture of WSN system of cyanobacteria monitoring, based on the application requirement of the system and to balance network consume and maximize the network lifetime, The LEACH routing protocol is analysed and modified. The main research contents in this paper includes the following aspects.(1) Rearch on several common routing protocol and compare the advantages and disadvantages of them in every aspect.(2) According to the characteristics of the cyanobacteria monitoring system, bring in the idea of Distributed Library Management and construct the WSN system based on level of structure type network so the expansibility and flexibility of the system is improved.On the other hand, the LEACH routing protocol is put forword.(3) On the foundation of analysis on the LEACH routing protocol,to slove the problems such as the energy consumption asymmetric of node and energy volution, estingwish the network and balance the network on the mechanisms of heteropic clustering which votes leader cluster node with a different probability. On the other hand,adopt the Dijkstra algorithm duing the course of stable transmission and routing protocol algorithm to realize multi-jump channel, which decreases the consume of the network and maximize the network lifetime.(4) Compared with simulation experiment by NS2, the improved routing protocol is superior in balancing the consume of the network than LEACH routing protocol and help to maximize the network lifetime with higher application value.
