The modern information war, put forward higher requirements on the battlefield awareness ability. Radar is used as the sensor, played an indispensable role. Active phased array radar, also known as active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, which has hundreds or thousands of radiator, the radiator has its own independenttransmitting and receiving unit (T/RU), can also form a plurality of independent control of the beam, the completion of a function with a portion of the T/R module.and other functions with the addition of T/R module; can also search, detection, recognition, tracking, irradiation with different directions and different height of themulti-target. Multichannel receiving system is an important part of active phased array radar. This system should be the spectral purity of large dynamic, high sensitivity, high frequency, and has the ability of real-time processing. The key technology whichbrings to the system design include:waveform selection, high spectral quality signals,multi-channel receiver front-end, multi-channel digital receiver, the real-time control of the radar controller. This paper discusses the design of multi channel active phased array radar system. The basic design of the multi-channel receiver system, the frequency of the source system, radar control system were discussed, and the system is analyzed andcalculated in detail, finally, the physical model and the testing results are given, the system to meet the index.
