In an array signal processing system with high real-time requirements,it is often necessary to perform complex processing on the array signals in the system,which has a high requirement for the real-time processing performance of the system.This article mainly uses a radar array signal real-time processing system as an example.Based on the analysis of the system requirements,the hardware platform and software platform of the system are finally determined.Then according to the function of the system,the functional module of the system is designed and implemented,and the system is tested and analyzed.Finally,the real-time processing system for array signals is studied for the difficulties in system design and implementation,which mainly include the data transmission in real-time processing system and the design of high-performance real-time processing system.This article can be divided into the following four parts:In the first part,we first briefly describe the array signal real-time processing system,including the system hardware structure and system processing flow.Then we analyze the system requirements to determine the system performance parameters.Finally,we aim at the current mainstream real-time processing system architecture.Research and comparative analysis were conducted to determine the hardware architecture and system architecture.The system's hardware platform and system functions were used to determine the system's software platform and design of each functional module.The second part,this part is the most important part of this article.Based on the design of array signal real-time processing system,the functional modules of the system are introduced and implemented in detail,including system initialization,power spectrum display,frequency selection of real-time processing,estimation of channel calibration parameter,extraction of channel calibration parameter,channelization,and narrowband calibration,DOA estimation,spatial filtering,range Doppler calculation,and storage streaming.Finally,the system is tested and the system is analyzed by the test results.The third part researches on data transmission in array signal real-time processing system,including data transmission inside FPGA,data transmission between FPGA and host,and data transmission between devices.The fourth part researches on the design and implementation of array signal real-time processing system in FPGA,including LabVIEW FPGA high-performance analysis,high performance programming of single-cycle fixed cycle,timing optimization and resource optimization.
