| The21st century is an era of information, in which the mobile communication andInternet technology have promoted a great progress of human civilization, and lots of digitalremote control systems have come into being. In recent years, with the rapid development ofsociety and the continuous improvement of people’s quality of life, cars have become anintegral part of people’s daily life. And the vehicle safety has become the focus of attention.People increasingly want to be able to know the important information of their cars instantlyand accurately, such as location, speed and direction of movement. While the car alarmsystems based on GSM/GPS technology, can meet the needs of people well, is becoming ahot topic in the field. This paper have designed and achieved a new efficient vehicle anti-theft system.According to the problem of high rate of omission or false alarm, the system has used anumber of sensors. As the multi-sensor information fusion technology is used to deal with thedata of each sensor that can enhance its reliability. Meanwhile, GPS and GSM modules isadded in the system. The central processor of the system receives the coordinate data by theGPS module transmitted from satellite, and sends the data to a mobile phone user in advancebound by GSM module when the vehicle is judged alarm. Users can use the software on theirphone or computer to find the geographic location of the vehicle. Rely on GSM wirelesscommunication technology can effectively solve the problem of the poor alarm signal and thelack of effective distance. This paper discusses the basic principle which the vehicle involved in the anti-theftsystem, and shows the system design, composition and function of each module, hardwaredesign and software programming. Finally, the performance of the system is tested, and the results show that the system can detect the alarm signal accurately and sent vehicle locationinformation to the bound phone timely. The design can meet the basic requirements. |
