As integration of electronic products is increasing, the cooling problem become theconstraint to the develoment of electronic products. The CCL with aluminum plate which hasthe greatest cooling effect can work on the problem.In this paper, a monitoring system is designedfor the production.The system includes two parts, the upper computer and lower machine. The upper computersoftware is designed by using Qt at PC.The lower machine is PLC. The upper computer provide auser-friendly interface to monitor the production process. It’s functions have the communicationparameters setting including the settings of the station number and the communication number,the production technology parameters settings including the temperature, pressure, PID and moreparameter settings, the operation of the production process, the real-time data displaying includingthe numerical displaying and the graph drawing, the storing of data including the database storingand file storing,the Printing of graph, and the communication between PC and PLC.The lowermachine with PLC as the core control the system terminal to meet the technology requirements oftemperature and pressure. The tasks of PLC include the production process controlling of thestorage tank and lamination. In order to avoid the harsh environment such as the hot in summerand cold in winter, noise and so on, the PLC is connected to PC by the15meters shieldedtwisted-pair cable via RS485serial port, to realize the remote monitoring.The paper include the PLC program design, the upper computer program design and thecommunication between PC and PLC. In this paper, seven parts is included. The first chapter,theintroduction, describes the background and purpose of the subject,and introduce the developmentof PLC and industrial control, and arrange the contents of each chapter. The second chapterintroduce the system framework, including the design of PLC controlling function, the design ofthe upper computer’s function and the choice of the communication between PLC and PC. Thethird chapter is the introduction of the PLC program design. The fourth chapter is the design ofthe upper machine software. The fifth chapter is the design of communication between PLC andthe upper computer. The sixth chapter is the system test.The seventh chapter is the summary andthe prospect for the future development.In this paper, a monitoring system for the CCL production is designed. The monitoringsystem can achieve the purpose of the design, monitoring and controlling the production process.
