Plastic products with its unique advantages, in the daily supplies and industrial products have a wide range of applications. And for a long time, our country relies mainly on the experience in injection molding design, design scheme, constant revision to seek optimal solution, can achieve good effect. Not only mould processing and manufacturing cycle is long, high production cost, but also difficult to guarantee the stability of product quality. And the use of injection molding CAE technology can be in the design phase of product design and mold design scheme evaluation, prediction products possible defects, modify the design to obtain the optimal solution, improve test success rate, so as to achieve the purpose of lower production cost, shorten production cycle. Paper main work and achievements are as follows:1. According to the structure characteristics of the LED optical lens, injection mould structure design. Including the gating system, exhaust system, cooling system, guide mechanism, launch mechanism, the design of the core-pulling mechanism and molding parts. Draw the mold assembly drawing.2. To simulate the process of injection molding, including filling, pressure, cooling and warp phase numerical simulation of the gating system and the cavity pressure field, temperature field, velocity field, shear strain rate field and the distribution of the shear force field. Predict whether pouring system balance, the cooling system is reasonable, whether in the process of injection molding defects such as short shot, weld lines, warp. To optimize the mould structure, to determine the best mould structure.
