Design And Implementation Of Higher Vocational Colleges Employment Management System Based On OLOP Technology

With the reform of university graduates’ employment system, the employmentsituation is facing new situation change, it produces tremendous effect on thegraduates’ employment system, employment channels and mechanisms. According tothis background, higher vocation colleges’ employment management characteristics,by use of database technology and OLAP technology, this paper design a vocationalcollege student employment management and information analysis platform, itimplementation integrated management of employment information and decisionanalysis.First of all, based on university graduates employment management, the paperdiscusses on-line analytical processing techniques(OLAP), it point out that OLAPcan be applied to the analysis of employment, from the student’s professional,educational system, company to city and location, employment multi dimensionanalysis can be given, OLAP improve employment decision and management levelin higher vocational colleges.Then, a detailed analysis and design of the employment information managementsystem is given, it describes business process of employment management, describesthe employment center’s duties, the paper discusses the overall design of the systemfunction, database structure design, the OLAP analysis of the dimension table and facttable.Then, by use of Oracle’s OLAP analysis workspace manager, the paper describesthe construction of OLAP multidimensional model analysis of employment, describethe dimension, level, map creation and dimension data cube and maintenance.Finally, the paper presents the realization method of higher vocational collegesemployment management system based on OLAP, the integration and transformationprocess of employment data are given, describes the main function of the system, onthis basis, the analysis of OLAP multidimensional employment data analysis are given,include drilling, slicing and dicing operation.This system is a comprehensive information platform, it manages and analysisthe employment of vocational college students, implement integrated management ofemployment information and decision. Student employment data’s extraction andanalysis through different angles, by use of employment data multi dimension visualization methods such as drill and slice, the system provide valuable guidanceinformation for the employment management.
