Study On The Public Opinion Of National Food Safety Issues On Microblog Platform

In today’s world of the continued development of new media, the public opinion led bytraditional media is nationally waning. The microblog, as the delegate of new media, standsup as the equal to TV, newspaper and magazine. As the essential element of people’s live hoodand the stability of the whole society, food safety leads an important role, being one of themost influential factors to not only the prosperity of social context but also the state of mindof the public. The impact appeared as a so called double-edged sword effect. Therefore, therelevant issue attracts more and more attention in today’s research. However, under thediscussion of the national public opinion of food safety on microblog platform, there is littleresearch, but the relevant discipline and the interdisciplinary thesis have been found in politics,industrial economics, management, journalism and communication. Content analysis,searching and investigation are leveraged as the key research method. The whole thesis statedin4chapters to represent with the foresaid research methods. In the introduction part, theworld research status for public opinion on food safety issues is comprehensively described.Chapter1focuses on the feature and classification for public opinion of national food safetyissues on microblog platform. And present the main causes for the microblog public option onnational food safety issues from the angels like group interest, value theory and public mood.Chapter3provides methodology for the public opinion guidance. Firstly analysis both theeffect and side effect of Microblog public opinion which influence China’s food safety issue.In secondary, targeting on the relevant impact, suggestions and advices is offered for bothgovernment department functions and mainstream media organization for their further publicopinion guidance.The Topic of this research is the extension for the study of public opinion on Chinesefood safety issues.
