A Study On The Functional Roles As On-camera Reporter In SNG Live

With rapid development of TV industries in PRC, journalists are very often seen as observer in news events and recorder, witness, gatekeeper on TV screens. They play an important role in news reporting and are an indispensable part of news programs on TV. In some TV shows, however, some journalists cannot clarify their role definition, which affects the quality and communication effect of news reporting.Through exploring the audience expectation and listing various roles on reporting spots, functionally, this paper points out that journalists play three roles as a common people, a communicator and a social people in SNG Live, which is a rule all journalists should be followed. Moreover, the paper analyzes journalists’anomie phenomenon and the reasons, and finally puts forward corresponding countermeasures to solve the problem from the perspectives of language expression, moral principles and professional quality.
