The Design And Implementation Of Goods Management In Irrigation Works System

Goods management is a major and complicated work in irrigation works management which manages a relatively large number of supplies and types. The traditional manual management has low efficiency and costs financial and human resources, and it is time-consuming as well. The informatization of materials management not only can improve work efficiency, but also can greatly improve the quality and execution of the project management, strengthening staffs’ awareness of increasing capacities and conservation as well as protection of property and learning technology. It builds a common view for staffs to manage things scientifically and to reduce conflicts in supply and use of all aspects of materials and equipment.High-level programing and object-oriented language, Java language, is utilized to write the code of the system. The development and design of the system are based on the commonly used technology, SSH framework technology, and which includes struts framework, spring framework and hibernate framework. Besides, JSP, Servlet technology and J2EE technology are applied in the designing of the system page. The goods management in irrigation works management system’s overall technical frameworks includes procurement management platform, material storage management platform and warehouse data management platform. Data encryption is done before transmission through network, in which way can SSH technical framework provide a highly secure data management platform for materials information in the system to ensure the safety of information when transferring. Hibernate technical framework is designed to access layer which is able to exchange and access between system and database.The Spring framework is used to solve complex problems in the system easily.Goods procurement, warehouse management, goods storage, out-stock, equipment management, statistical reports, basic data management and system settings are realized in the system. Besides, the elementary functions such as system registry and security settings are included as well. Goods procurement function consists of demand planning, procurement planning, logistics information and procurement registration. Warehouse management feature includes warehouse information management, inventory management, inventory details, inventory warning and stock inventory. Goods storage function includes common storage, returning borrowed material to warehouse, returned material to warehouse overage storage, warehousing details and invoices recognition. Out-stock function is divided into picking out-stock, allocation out-stock, borrowed out-stock, returned out-stock, losses out-stock and out-stock details. Equipment management, statistical reports, basic data management and system management functions has its respective sub-operations.With the help of informatization management, the system improves staffs management efficiency, ensuring the sufficiency of various goods’ information and data which makes tasks of project run on time and orderly.
