Building smart home becomes a trend, especially when the Internet of thing technology is being mature gradually now. Appling the Internet of things in smart home shows its great advantage. Zigbee wireless network has advantages of short distance, simple structure, flexible networking, low power consumption and reliable transmission. While smart home system based on Zigbee get rid of the shortcome of traditional household’s complicated wiring. Zigbee is suitable for use in smart home.This paper designed the smart home system based on zigbee, including three parts--lighting control, heating control and smoke alarm. Zigbee wireless sensor network consists of the coordinator and end nodes. Zigbee nodes with the sensor, collected indoor temperature, smoke information. The information is transmitted to main control system through the coordinator. Main control system is composed of arm cortex-A8. Main control system received information transmitted via the coordinator, interface control information, message control information and system settings. And transmitted information to the executor nodes via the coordinator to control the light switch, heat switch, and alarm system opening and closing. It sent the information to the LCD or web page to display.Introduced the background of smart home system and the key technology used in smart home system. Learned wireless communication technology and embedded technology used in smart home system. Given the hardware design. Introduced the system hardware resources used. Selected the CC2530chip of TI company as the wireless rf chip in Zigbee node. Sensors used SHT10temperature sensor and smoke sensor MQ-2. Main control system used ARM cortex-A8whose core chip is samsung S5PV210processor and control interface is7.7inch TFT LCD. Used SIMCOM company SIM300module implements to send and receive text messages to realize the remote control. Next came the smart home system software design in this paper. Including the process of embedded systems software development and the programming of Zigbee wireless network. Open or close electric valve of heating system base on the timing information, temperature, SIM remote control information and control panel information. Controlled the light switch by the control panel. Smoke control system alarmed through the buzzer and short message in time when the smoke concentration exceeds the threshold. Finally tested the system. including GSM module,gas alarm testing and display panel testing. After testing, the system can basically meet the design requirements. |
