The L Enterprise of thermal insulation piece Tpreg, as the most important transferproject in2011, had manufactured more than three months after introducing thisTpreg production line. However, the production got a lower visual quality and yieldrate while shorten the process phases, improve the automation of production lines,improve the efficiency of producing, which can not only meet customer’s requirement,but also bring a bit of economic loss for the company.6Sigma Management is aflexible and integrated system. It evaluates the existing process to definition, measure,analysis, improvement and control in order to eliminate defects and worthlessnessoperations to improve quality, reduce costs, shorten cycle times, and ultimatelyachieve customer satisfaction. Therefore, DOE and Hypothesis analysis and relatedimprovement was implemented based on the basic theory of the6sigma improvemodel DMAIC, and then achieve the target yield beyond80%, saving a considerableeconomic cost. Regarding this study, chapter one and two mainly introduces the basictheory of Six Sigma and DMAIC model and its application tools. Chapter three lets usknow about the enterprise and the background of this project; Chapter four, gives us adetail quality improvement process for the Tpreg production line in L Enterprise,show us a six sigma process improvement and application of China’s manufacturingenterprises, and finally summarizes the results of six sigma improvement.
