Since the20thcentury, world economics undergo change from traditional economic thatinput based on physical resources and simple labor to knowledge-based economy that input basedon knowledge and information. R&D has been choice mechanism to decide enterprise survival ordie out. Enterprise must adopt open innovation. The reason why enterprises certainly without making other specialized enterprises bear thefunction of increasing returns, in given period, this functional market is too small to support aspecialized enterprise and industry. Scientific and technological progress, demand diversificationand market expansion, those all urge product production chain to occur materiality change. Therelation is becoming increasingly obscure both R&D and manufacture for R&D externalization.Firstly, as an independent industrial chain section, R&D grows into belonging one enterprise withmanufacture, and becoming footman of manufacture. Then, R&D and manufacture again separate, presenting independent segmentation. Some enterprises’ R&D departments are stripped from themother and develop into an independent R&D formats or new formalism, the other enterprises, byway of retaining and strengthening their R&D departments, stripping out their manufacturingoperation and other businesses, becoming the real R&D formats. The former one is a typicalevolutionary route, sharing the same route as logistics, after-sale service and other internalbusinesses, all of which form independent industries through externalization. The latter is an"offbeat" atypical evolution route.A new classical general equilibrium model with infra-marginal approach, based on atrade-off between the economies of the division of labor and trading cost, is developed to exploremicro-mechanism of R&D industrialization route model. Thus it reveals the characteristic andinfluencing factors of R&D industrialization route model. We can see that every link of theevolutionary route is affected by learning cost, transaction efficiency, development of market, andother elements. Meanwhile, the industrialization of R&D have the atypical route result frommeeting the high efficiency, high grade, exuberant demand, and great advantages. R&D industrymarket affect R&D industrialization route via transactional efficiency, supply-demandrelationship, and utility. For enterprises, whether they should actualize industrialization of R&Dand how to actualize it or which path to select depend on specific circumstances. Finally, based onmarketing system, standard market order, mending supply-demand relationship, and clusterdevelopment, we propose policy for motivating R&D industrialization development in Shenzhen.
