With sustained development of Chineseeconomy,and consumers’ requirementforagricultural product become increasingly picky, so agricultural market has also begun toenter the era of brand competition.China has much geographical indication resources, andmany agricultural industrial clusters rise around geographical indication agriculturalproducts.Therefore, making great efforts to build geographical indicationbrand based onagricultural industry clusters has important implication for the development of agricultureand income increasing of farmer and economic development of country.However, there hasbeen false brand, brand abandoning and difficult brand supervision etc. in geographicalIndications brand building, which has caused competitiveness recession in someagricultural industry cluster, so it is necessary to do research on geographicalindicationbrand buildingfrom the view of economics.Building geographical Indication brand must mustrely on a agricultural industry cluster, sowe need to combinethe industry cluster theory and geographical indication brand theory forstudy.In Chapter II we try to describeagricultural industry clusters theory and geographicalindication brand theory, and to clarify the interaction between them. In Chapter III we usegame theory to analyzethe competing behavior of the main parts in the clusters such asfarmers and company and local government. Chapter Two typical patterns of geographicalindication brand casesare analyzed in Chapter IV, from the analysis we can summarize thecharacteristics of the two main patterns and reveal the inherent law of the GeographicalIndication brand building. In Chapter Vwe can draw conclusions and make policyrecommendations from the study in this article.
