Wet market is the main consumption areas in our country. Its site selection is not only affects the consumers, but also a direct impact on the economic benefits. What’s more, it related to the management of city environment, and is closely related to people’s life. So its importance is self-evident.At present, the wet market planning is mainly planned by the government according to the radius of service, service number, and the business area planning control index. It is only from the macro level limit wet marke’s scale and scope of radiation, but the planning of how to determine the position of the wet market has no clear standard. And, most of the domestic researches on wet market planning are also only about influence analysis of location factors from the qualitative aspects.In view of the above questions, this study first reviews relevant researches on retail location, combined with the characteristics of wet markets, concludes the factors system influencing the site selection of wet markets; then, by the field interview and survey on Suzhou city within the scope of33wet market, qualitative and quantitative analysis of6factors as co-opetition relationship, base nature, and so on; finally get the influenced factors and its influence on the site selection of wet market. The conclusions are as following:Firstly,6factors which influencing wet market location are:" co-opetition relationship, base property, transportation and accessibility, demographic factors, management factors and fixed cost", and22influencing factors, just as "construction area, rental, and so on";Secondly, these are five factors as " competitors for wet market, cooperative stores, the construction area, the distance between the market and bus station ", and three factors as " co-opetition relationship, base properties and transportation and accessibility" reached significant with the turnover.
