Research And Analyze The Governance Of CN Domain Name System

The rapid development of the Internet brings a series of convenient, at the same time, it also brings a series of problems. In order to fundamentally guarantee the healthy development of the Internet, we need the effective governance of the internet. While the domain which was a kind of Internet based resources, its real name register plays an important role in the healthy development of the Internet. And the governance of the domain system is quite a difficult problem in the world.Since December10,2009, CNNIC started a special governance to confirm the accuracy of domain name registration information, The work has made a positive effect. Facing the worldwide problem, the success of CN domain name system governance aroused great repercussions in international society, and it become a major topic worthy of further study.This paper first reviews the history of the Internet’s development, summarizes the characteristics and development rules of the Internet, and then leads to the concepts of the domain name system. By analyzing the network bad information and network fishing behavior which bring serious impact on the Internet’s development and people’s lives, points out the importance of the real name registration of domain name as well as the necessity of the domain name system governance. Based on the public governance theory, transaction cost theory, signal theory, principal-agent theory and game theory, this paper analyzes the reasons which caused a series problems in domain name field. This paper researches and reviews the international domain name system governance and the CN domain name governance which was under the guidance of the Chinese characteristics Internet governance theory, sums up the advanced experiences, puts forward some recommendations for other international domain system governance, and looks forward to the future domain name system governance.
