Agricultural Development To Explore The Yuan Dynasty In Mongolia

As a nomadic nationality,livestock husbandry has become the mainstay of Mongolian’s social and economic production.The people make a living of a long time going with the grassland.From long time ago,there is a opinion that whether there were agriculture in the north and south of the great desert when Genghis unified mongol tribes. It has been for a long time that Mongols have been engaged in agriculture.This paper mainly investigated khan unified Mongolia plateau, north and south, the desert before agriculture, debated for a long time. Mongolian nationality not only engaged in agriculture, and has a long history. The thesis mainly investigate the agricultural developing situations of Mongolian area throughout the Mongol--Yuan dynasty periods according to Khara khorum and Upper capital (Shang Du)as a research object.The thesis is consist of three chapters.The first chapter expounded the situation of agricultural production of Mongolian area around of establishment of Great Mongolia, according to the archaeological excavation studies.In compaison with the Great Mongolia periods and Yuan dynasty, from the aspects of agricultural policies,laws and administrations,scale of farmland,population of farming,farming technique,it is found that the private agriculture is the main sections for the Mongols and wasteland as the auxiliary sections,when Great Mongolian period,and the In Yuan dynasty, wasteland is the main sections and private agriculture is the secondary. When Yuan dynasty. If you want to study the agriculture of Mongolian area in the Mongol--Yuan dynasty period,you must first research the conditions of the wasteland of the Mongolian area in Yuan dynasty.Owning to Khara khorum and Upper capital were the places of the rise of many Mongolian khans,although the domination center has been shifted to Da Du after the establishment of Yuan dynasty,but these two cities as also playing the important roles in the aspects of policy,economy and culture.Therefore,in the second and third chapter of the paper,it is mainly expounded the conditions of wasteland of Khara khorum and Upper capital in the domination of Yuan dynasty.
