The Establishment Of The Economic Impact Of Kashgar Special Economic Zones

In recent years, with the constant promotion of reform and opening-up, the establishment of Special Economic Development Zone of national level in the West has become the inevitable requirement of China. Xinjiang Kashgar, is located in most west of China, southwest of Xinjiang, is one of the Uygur minority inhabit a region, is the ancient Silk Road Traffic fortress. Since ancient times, Kashgar is key transit and trade focus of east and west. Kashgar has "five land ports, eight neighbors, and one road linking Europe and Asia" location advantage. In relation to the unity and stability of the frontier of motherland and prosperity in the establishment of the Kashgar economic development zone. The rapid development of Kashgar is not only to promote the region surrounding Kashgar area modernization process, but also conducive to China penetrate through Central Asia, South Asia, West Asia’s broad market.This paper elaborates the establishment background, significance of Kashgar Special Economic Zone, points out location advantage, resource advantage, policy advantage and traffic advantage, analysis of Kashgar’s geography, humanities environment, industrial structure, the financial mechanism as obstacles factors for the development of policy implementation in Kashgar Special Economic Zone. And it also combine to relate the actual situation with policy support of Central government and Xinjiang Autonomous Region, to summarize and analyze current development status of the Kashgar Special Economic Zone and existing problems. Finally, according to analysis results, the combination of theory and practice, suitable development countermeasure, propose advices on the further development of the Kashgar Special Economic Zone, in order to enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of special policy, to promote the local economic and social development.
